I'm in New York City!!

I arrived in New York City Sunday afternoon and after a very interesting shuttle ride from the airport (take the cab) I finally arrived at my hotel in Midtown. I love being back in the city atmotsphere! I met my new friends right away and we wasted no time getting to the sights. In fact after dinner we ventured to the top of the Empire State Building with 30 minutes to spare before their closing time of midnight. The view from the top is breathtaking. I always love how life throws you unexpected blessings. Jennifer and Nick were married in the heart of downtown Louisville, KY at the beautiful St. Boniface Catholic Church. Jennifer and Nick are the most wonderful, kind people. I see where they get it from... their families are so welcoming! I had never met them and yet they opened their arms and invited me to their Rehearsal dinner. Thank you for your generosity and for making my trip to Louisville so worth it! It was truly an honor to capture your story. You guys are amazing!

Our good friends(and family) Emily and Jamie are expecting in November, so it was picture time! We are so excited for them as they prepare to welcome Levi James into the world. CONGRATULATIONS EMILY & JAMIE!!

Bethany & Chip ~ E-Session in Sarasota, FL

Bethany and Chip are getting married in March, 2007. They are such a wonderful couple. Bethany just glows when she looks into Chip's eyes and he lights up simply seeing her smile. They have such a huge amount of love and respect for each other. I had a great time with the two of them and am very much looking forward to thier wedding!!

I feel blessed to have met you two and may God continue to bless your love for one another.

Scarlett - a photo shoot in Orlando

I attend a PUG in Orlando, FL about once a month. PUG stands for Pictage User Group. It's a great way to get together with other photographers, bounce ideas off of each other, learn from one another and grow as a photographer. Oh, and make great friends! This past Tuesday we did a night shoot with Scarlett as our model. Scarlett is the great talent behind Captivating Studios. If you are in need of a videographer, she comes highly recommended!! Not only is she a wonderful, beautiful person, she puts together the most amazing films. Here are some of the photos I shot during the shoot.

After the shoot (around 1am) a few of us decided to go to IHOP before we braved the early morning drive back to Tampa. We ended up leaving around 2am!

Last night a group of us from OSP in the Tampa area got together. I always love meeting new people and to meet with a group of people that share the same passion for photography was so great!
