Pay Phones... done the right way

For those of you who saw my previous post on pay phones...

"Total off the wall thought. For those of you who know me well, know I have these often... like did you ever think how funny it is that while in a car we are traveling at high speeds like 70mph, but yet we don't move? Here's todays: So I'm sitting in the Chicago Airport and I'm wondering why in a day of over-obsessed cell phone use there are 14 pay phones within 10 feet of me. Haven't these become pretty much obsolete? Surely this many are slight overkill."

I came across this in the LA airport on my way home :)

L.A. ~ been home for a week and finally blogging...

I had an amazing time in L.A.!! Not only did I learn a ton that will help propel my business that much further ahead, but I also got to catch up with my amazing friends Millie Holloman and Davina Fear. The three of us roomed together and had a great time! Davina's birthday took place while we were there, so Millie and I had the pleasure of being her birthday dates :) These two ladies are two of the fabulous four putting on the Love Affair Workshops, which I won't be missing!! Davina spoke at the conference and her talk really has helped me start to organize my life and my business. I'm really excited about everything I took away from L.A. I also got to spend time with my Florida friend TimCo and Stacy Cross from right here in Austin, TX. What a great trip!

On the Road Again... Here in L.A.!

I'm in Los Angeles for my first time in California! I'm here for the Pictage PartnerCon. Loving it! I will be checking my email as often as possible, but please be patient if I don't get back to you right away. I promise I will get back with you as soon as possible. I'll be back in the Lonestar state by the end of the week. Until then, LA here I am!! Now off to bed since it is after 1am my time...

Reba & Bryan ~ HAUT session @ the Lake!

Reba and Bryan have been married for almost a year. They wanted to do some fun pics since they never had engagement images done. Reba came prepared with several outfits. My kind of girl! We had fun at the beach in Frankfort, MI. I have good memories of that place as it was one of the frequent stops on our family sailing trips along Lake Michigan. Afterwards, Bryan and Reba treated me to their favorite - Toasted Coconut ice cream at Kilwin's... YUM! Check out this HAUT couple!!

Tricia & Jim ~ Traverse City, MI 8.25.07

I knew Jim when he was a boy, so when he called to ask if I'd photograph his wedding I was honored! What a beautiful bride he chose in Tricia. Not only on the outside, but also on the inside. Jim and Tricia have such an obvious deep love for one another. It truly was my pleasure to capture their day. Congratulations you two! And thank you for including me in your wedding. God Bless!!
