Ginger & Craig ~ e-session in San Antonio, TX
Ginger and Craig are getting married in Austin, TX and wanted to do their engagement images down by the Riverwalk here in San Antonio. I thought it was a great idea and really enjoyed shooting with them. They even brought along their very own personal assistants, Ginger's mom and dad. Below are some of my favorites and a link to the slideshow. I'm really looking forward to their wedding in November! Congratulations you two!!

the REAL reason for being blog absent...
I know I have been a HUGE blog slacker lately. I tried to play it off as if it was because I was traveling a lot... well I was. BUT the real reason I've been blog absent lately is...................
I'M PREGNANT!!! and REALLY tired. Here is the first picture of Baby DeYoung, aka "Sunshine", "Lil peanut", "Gummy Bear" (as the ultrasound tech referred to baby). I am almost 10 weeks along and due April 20th! We are very very excited!!! Today was the ultrasound and it was so fun seeing the wee little wonder hop around and watch it's heart beat. Look at it's cute little arms and legs! Amazing. Truly a miracle. The tech said that when mom laughs it often makes the baby move around a lot. I told her I'm concerned this baby is going to come out with shaken baby syndrome because I laugh so often. She assured me this would not happen. Did I mention? ...I'M PREGNANT!!!

Pay Phones... done the right way
For those of you who saw my previous post on pay phones...
"Total off the wall thought. For those of you who know me well, know I have these often... like did you ever think how funny it is that while in a car we are traveling at high speeds like 70mph, but yet we don't move? Here's todays: So I'm sitting in the Chicago Airport and I'm wondering why in a day of over-obsessed cell phone use there are 14 pay phones within 10 feet of me. Haven't these become pretty much obsolete? Surely this many are slight overkill."
I came across this in the LA airport on my way home :)
