Diana & Eric ~ e-session, Ybor City, FL

I had so much fun with Diana and Eric. They were such good sports as it was super hot while we were shooting. We went Downtown Ybor City... one of my favorite places in the Tampa Bay area! They were not only a great couple to get to spend time with, but check out what a good lookin' couple they are!! Hotness! I'm really looking forward to their wedding in October. They are going to have an old time Hollywood theme to their wedding that will add such flavor and romance. Congratulations Diana & Eric!

A Surprise 50th Birthday Party!

After being absent from my blog for what seems like forever... I'm back! Paul and I are finally here in Texas and moved into our new home. Now it's time to play catch-up.

Two days before I left Florida, I was invited to cover a 50th surprise birthday party for Joyce. Her daughter, Tiffany and husband, Oscar contacted me about capturing this special event. Obviously they love her very much. Her family and friends were all there to help her celebrate. Was Joyce ever surprised!

Here in San Antonio!!

Ok, so I've been blog absent for what seems like forever. We arrived in San Antonio and FINALLY have internet in our new house. We lived in a hotel for a week while our house was getting finished and now we officially have a Texas address. Check out our new home! Today is our 5th wedding anniversary and what an anniversary! We bought each other a house AND went on the cruise... not to mention I have the best husband ever, a gift that keeps on giving. WHAT A YEAR! God is amazing :)

Moving to San Antonio, TX!!!

Well, life is a bit crazy right now in the DeYoung household... my husband accepted a job in San Antonio, Texas. We are moving! We both love the area and are very excited about our new home to be. I will continue to be back in Florida quite often as I really love working in this area. Since I already travel for weddings, Florida will just become another " working vacation" destination of mine! I am also really excited about starting in a great new place like San Antonio. The best of both worlds! I love that I get to travel. I love that I get to work with and meet so many wonderful people. I love my job!!

We are loading our house up this week and moving ourselves out to Texas over the course of next week, so if you have contacted me please be patient. I will get back with you as soon as possible and will do my best to stay on top of everything throughout this crazy time. Thank you for your understanding!

I had lunch with the very talented and fun Kara Pennington the other day here in Tampa. I always enjoy the time I get to spend with other talented photographers. There is so much to learn from others in the industry and I think we all help eachother grow that much faster, not to mention the great friendships that are formed!!
