Happy Thanksgiving!!

When Paul went to buy the turkey, I said "Ask the meat guy what kind is best" and I was met with the reply "Honey, you always get a Butterball!" So that is exactly what we got - a 22lb Butterball for 3 1/2 people... leftovers!

On a year when we truly have so much to be thankful for, Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours. I hope you enjoy your Butterball as much as we enjoy ours!

God Bless!!

Mari & Pete ~ Miami, FL 11.09.08

Yes, that is correct. This wedding was the day after the Fort Myers wedding. Saturday I shot Kristen & Jeff's wedding, went back to my hotel room, downloaded all my cards, climbed in bed, only to wake up Sunday morning, drive to Miami, and shoot Mari & Pete's beautiful Miami wedding. The ceremony was on the beach at sunset followed by the reception outdoors at The National on South Beach. The lighting for the outdoor reception made for some GREAT photos! Mari had some great tricks up her sleeve, from the umbrellas to wanting a shot of them calling it a night. I was also able to capture a moment for Mari & Pete that I have never been able to capture before... The next day. I was relaxing in a lounge chair on the beach the following morning before my flight took off and guess who walked up to occupy the two chairs in front of me... While I did not have my camera gear, I did have my handy-dandy new iPhone. Mari even joked about me joining them on their honeymoon in Hawaii to capture some pictures there. I want everyone to know that I am fully available to travel on exotic honeymoons to capture snapshots for you :) Congratulations Mari & Pete!!

Some of my favorites...

I seriously think that Kenny Chesney witnessed Mari & Pete's first meeting...

Kristen & Jeff ~ Estero, FL 11.08.08

Kristen and Jeff were married in Estero, FL. Estero is near Fort Myers, FL. Darn. I had to pack my bags and head for the sunny state. Kristen and Jeff live in New York City and traveled down to Florida, along with thier closest friends and family, to be married near their parents FL property. What a great idea! They wrote their own vows, which I am always a sap for. Jeff sang a song for Kristen at the reception. Then, once the outdoor dancing came to an end, the guests headed inside for some karaoke. This group had a blast! Congratulations to Kristen & Jeff!!

Here are some of my faves...
