Kellie & Jeff ~ e-session in San Antonio, TX

I met up with Kellie & Jeff at the Botanical Gardens here in San Antonio, TX. What a beautiful place. Lots of different surroundings. We then headed to the Alamo Heights area where we came upon some more great places to shoot. Kellie & Jeff are getting married in January and it was truly a pleasure capturing their engagement images. I'm looking forward to the wedding!

Ginger & Craig ~ Austin, TX 11.10.07

I'm back!! I had an amazing week in Florida shooting 3 weddings, 2 e-sessions, a birthday party and church pictures for Riverhills Church in Tampa. Wow! Do I have some catching up to do...

Ginger & Craig were married at The Sanctuary in Austin, TX. They had a beautiful candlelit ceremony. Being new to Texas, I am also new to the STRONG loyalty of all Texas A&M fans/alumni. Ginger went to Texas A&M and there were several tributes to her alma matter throughout the day. One of my faves was the raising of the A&M flags right before her walk down the aisle. Congratulations Ginger & Craig!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

I wanted to wish all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving gets built up as the holiday where we enjoy a huge meal of Turkey, Stuffing, and all the goodies, and we sit back and watch football - the Lions of course :) I just wanted to take a minute and share what I'm most thankful for this year...

~My amazingly wonderful husband, I am truly blessed to have him!
~Our child that is on the way and doing great :) (By the way - I felt the baby move for the first time last Friday night and have felt baby daily since then!!)
~My wonderful family and great friends
~That I get to do what I have a passion for to also earn a living
~My puppies and our new home :)
~That I was blessed enough to be born in America, a country that all too many people take for granted having a roof over their heads, running water, food, toilets, toilet paper!
~Our gracious Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ!

What are you most thankful for?

Headed to Florida...

Tomorrow morning bright and early (more like at what I like to call the butt-crack of dawn).. I fly out to the sunny state Florida. Off to have lots of fun, see lots of people, shoot lots of pictures. I will have limited internet access, so if you email me, please be patient with my response time. If you must get a hold of me, please call me at 888.804.4737. I'll be back in full swing after Nov. 26th. Thanks for your understanding! Happy Thanksgiving :)

Baby Update!

We got to see precious baby DeYoung yesterday! They did the major ultrasound where they check everything over to see how baby is growing. Report - Baby is Great!! They also commented on what a strong heartbeat baby has - way to make mommy proud :)

Here is baby's latest pic:

Also, people have been asking about my growing belly... Well I haven't been as good about taking regular pics as I should be and with my crazy schedule I really haven't been good about keeping up on pics of Paul and I. Just in the last two weeks, baby has moved up into my abdomen. I'm really looking forward to feeling the wee wonder move! Here is my ever growing belly...

Diana & Eric ~ Dunedin, FL 10.27.07

Diana & Eric were married in the Andrews Memorial Chapel. I love this old chapel. The inside had this beautiful wood ceiling! Diana looked absolutely gorgeous in her fitted gown! The details of the day were a lot of fun with the movie theme Diana and Eric chose. During the ceremony, when asked for the rings, Eric reached over to his groomsmen who claimed to have lost it. Instead he handed Eric a ring pop. Then, Eric's dad opened up a bag of Cracker Jack's to retrieve the prize... voila - Diana's ring! It was hilarious! I had so much fun capturing the day! Thank you, Diana and Eric, for including me in your day - many blessings to you!
