Another meaningful wedding... This time, my friend Cate was married to the handsome, charming, and quite hilarious Tim. Cate and I met during my semester in Chicago. We went to Hope College together and as it turned out, we walked together during graduation (both L's in the alphabet). She was my hero when I had to spend 8 miserable hours in the ER downtown Chicago on the day of the Chicago Marathon. She stayed with me the whole time. What a friend!!
Cate was stunning in her simple gown and her hair swept to the side. She livened her ensemble up at the reception by forgoing the pearl earrings and necklace for a chunky green necklace with matching earrings and pinning her hair up for a different look. I've always been envious of her taste and this certainly sealed the deal... I want her taste!
Tim sang Michael Buble' - Save The Last Dance For Me to Cate following their first dance. He claimed to only enjoy singing for fun and not be that great... whatever. He brought the house down! Combined with his dance moves, he had everyone captive. It is certainly moments like those that make my job the best job in the world! That is why it's not really a job ;)
Congratulations you two!
Here are some of my faves...
